Transformers: Dark of the Moon crossed the $1-billion mark in worldwide ticket sales on Tuesday, Paramount announced today (Wednesday). The third installment of the franchise has nabbed $338 million in North America and $663 million overseas. The studio said that it was first Paramount movie to join the billion-dollar club (only nine other movies are members). The studio said on Saturday that it had crossed the $2-billion mark, becoming the first studio this year to reach that milestone.»
